Thule's "Fit Viking" has released photos of a recent test installation of a Thule 480 Traverse base roof rack system installed on a brand new Toyota Prius V 5 Door Wagon. The vehicle specific fit kit part number has not been released but it appears that this fit will be ready for market very soon. The Fit Viking tweeted earlier to day saying "Prius V. RACKED! Kit details to follow...". Based on the photos included in the tweet and shown above, it looks like the rack will have a fairly normal cross bar spread of about 27 or 28 inches and the weight limit should be the same as the Prius 4 door sedan which is 130 pounds. The roof rack will be availble with Thule's new AeroBlade load bars, most likely ARB53, 53 inch length.
