The rack sets up perfectly using Thules designated measurements. This multi-purpose base rack is rated to carry up to 130 pounds which is ideal for bikes, kayaks, and much more. The load bars are spaced at 27.5 inches apart for excellent support for all Thule carriers. The 1556 fit kit is also designed for the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Standard Cab and Super Crew.
